It's been about a month now since I first bought Painter.  I was inspired to start painting for a few reasons.  I'm on my own now in a different state and I've been on the path of finding purpose and searching for things that truly make me happy.  Producing art is one of them and although I have played the trumpet for almost 10 years, I realize that it isn't filling that void.  I can't express myself as well as when I paint. I've also started volunteering at a pet shelter, which is extremely rewarding.  I've adopted my 2 year old egyptian mau from there.  He's so wonderful. It's just one of those days, you know?  Never mind the fact that hardly anyone comes to this poor, desolate site of mine.  Even talking to myself seems more interesting than anything else. The cat is being his weird self, half on his scratcher, half on the floor in some odd, twisted angle that I'm sure is bad for his neck.  He's on his back, spread eagle, showing the world his goodies.  Well, he's neutered so I guess he doesn't have goodies anymore.  -.-; Oh day, how you pass me by. Ahh, I have used someone elses skin on my journal.  I suppose my new cure to boredom is to make my own.  Oh happy day~
